Our Story

The Dopamine of
Real Change

I Mean Tech (IMT) was created from a simple but powerful belief: technology, when combined with imagination and the right skills, can transform lives, communities, and nations.

Our Philosophy

We believe tech is the dopamine of change. With access to the internet, the right skillset, and intentional brainstorming, meaningful transformation becomes possible.

There is no first-world or third-world technology — technology is universal. What matters is how creatively and effectively it is applied. At IMT, imagination is the starting point.

Our Vision

To build strong, skilled tech teams and develop world-class digital solutions that position Kenya and Africa as global leaders in innovation and technology.

Our Mission

To empower people with practical digital skills, deliver professional high-end tech services, and create pathways where trained talent becomes part of real projects.

Local Roots, Global Standards

We proudly serve local communities, businesses, and institutions — but we do so with international standards of quality, professionalism, and innovation.

We don't just build technology.

We build people, systems, and futures.

The Founder

Lewis Ndungu Kinaga

I Mean Tech (IMT) was founded by Lewis Ndungu Kinaga, an IT enthusiast driven by a deep passion for technology and everything connected to it. From an early interest in digital systems, software, and innovation, Lewis developed a strong belief that technology is one of the most powerful tools for creating meaningful change.

His vision goes beyond building software or offering services. He envisions technology as a catalyst for social transformation, economic growth, and global recognition — particularly for Kenya and the African continent. Through IMT, Lewis aims to empower individuals with practical skills, build strong tech teams, and create high-end digital solutions that prove African innovation can compete and lead on a global stage.

Guided by imagination, learning, and action, his mission is to use technology to bridge gaps, unlock potential, and contribute to long-term development within society.
